New York City celebrated the USA's 200th anniversary with a parade of the "tall ships" on July 4, 1976.
These photos are scanned from slides. My brother, Vinny, was on sail boat in the parade and took the pictures from the procession up the Hudson from the Lower Bay to the George Washington Bridge. I took pictures from the Henry Hudson Parkway, which was closed for the occasion.
